Pilling is so not a vibe 🙅🏼‍♀️, however is common for swimwear! It can happen to both synthetic and natural yarns and even the highest quality of fabrications can be prone to this texture! Pills are formed when the fibres that make up the material are put under stress and inevitably break. As these tiny fibres break, they become tangled and form knots which is the visible texture seen on the surface of the garment, so not cute!! Depending on the fabrication makeup and weave, the appearance of the pills can be more or less obvious.
